
Established in 1976, the Nova Scotia Nurses' Union is a professional union representing Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners in hospitals, long term care facilities, community care, adult residential centres, VON branches and Canadian Blood Services.
In Locals ranging in size from 6 to 900 members, our membership benefits from our focus on exclusive nurse issues and a heart-felt concern about the provision of adequate health care to the people of Nova Scotia.
The NSNU represents close to 6300 nurses across the province.
